AVIZla bill for importing a vehicle
The Government has examined the bill for importing a vehicle submitted as legislative initiative (388 of 15 October 2015), and communicate the following.
By the Law amending and supplementing certain acts No.71 of April 12, 2015 amendments were made to the Tax Code No. 1163-XIII of 24 April 1997, the Customs Code No.1149-XIV of 20 July 2000 and the Law on customs tariff No. 1380-XIII of 20 November 1997 on the exemption from import duties relating to transport imported and delivered free of charge (donation), regardless of the term of operation for:
a) for medical purposes , tariff headings 8702 and 8703;
B) for the transportation of persons with locomotor disabilities (re-equipped accordingly), classified under tariff heading 87.03;
C) fire, tariff heading 870530000;
D) street cleaning, for spreading materials for refuse collection tariff heading
8705. Also, according modifications, the facility can benefit both beneficiaries of that tax, provided exclusively specified transport modes according to their final destination, as well as third persons who imported these vehicles delivered to beneficiaries. At the same time, beneficiaries and third parties may not sell, transmit rent, lease, usufruct, operating or finance leases means of transport referred to a) -d).
In another vein, Article 20 paragraph. (4) of the Customs Code states that the placing and / or placing under customs import auto transportation tariff heading 8703 (excluding motor vehicles vintage) and engines and bodywork their exploitation term over 10 years.
