Enacted by the Parliament of Malaysia as follows: short title and commencement 1. (1) this Act may be cited as the Public Service Tribunal Act (liquidation) 2000.
(2) this Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 January 2000.
Interpretation 2. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires — "due date" means the date specified in subsection 1 (2);
"Tribunal" means the Public Service Tribunal established under section 3 of the Civil Service Tribunal Act 1977 [Act 186].
Abolition and liquidation 3. Civil Service Tribunal Act 1977 abolished and tribunals established under the Act should be abolished.

Prevent difficulties or anomalies.
5. (1) where any difficulty or anomalies arises in connection with the implementation of the provisions of this Act, the Minister may by order make such modifications to any of the provisions of this act as it considers necessary to eliminate or avoid difficulties or anomalies that: provided that the Minister cannot exercise the powers conferred by this section after the expiration of three years from the date specified.
(2) in this section, "modifications" includes alteration, addition, deletion, replacement, adjustment, alteration, variation and disapplication of any of the provisions of this Act.
