Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 1174, Riga, 13 October 2009 (pr. No 69 37) amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers of 2 June 2008 No. 400 provisions "veterinary requirements for aquaculture animals and products derived therefrom, as well as the movement of aquaculture animals of infectious disease prevention and eradication" Issued in accordance with article 25 of the law on veterinary medicine 1 and paragraph 10 do cabinet 2 June 2008 No. 400 "provisions of the veterinary requirements of the aquaculture animals, their products and their movement aquaculture, as well as infectious animal disease prevention and eradication "(Latvian journal, 2008, 88 no) the following amendments: 1. provisions supplementing with 2.36 2.37 2.38, and subparagraph by the following:"-2.36. the quarantine facility enclosed spaces, the complex or the area provide the quarantine of aquaculture animals.  XIV2. Requirements for aquaculture animals imported into the quarantined before it is placed on the European Community waters If Latvia imported 129.20 (aquaculture animals from third countries) the aquaculture animals for quarantine, the importer or his representative shall submit to the Department a written assurance that the designated quarantine station for imported aquaculture animals placed in quarantine and will be adopted in accordance with the requirements of this Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the Declaration). 129.24 on imported aquaculture animals which need to be placed in quarantine:

If the crossing point 129.25 desk officer receives information that the aquaculture animals declared as to send to quarantine, no destination within three working days after the date of arrival specified, it shall inform the customs services and the authority of that fact. 129.26 To aquaculture animals placed on the market in accordance with the provisions of article 33, 34 or 39 or. aquaculture animals imported in accordance with the Commission on 12 December 2008, Regulation (EC) No 1251/2008 implementing Council Directive 2006/88/EC as regards the conditions and certification requirements for aquaculture animals and products thereof on the market and importation into the community and referred to in the list (hereinafter referred to as Regulation (EC) No 1251/2008) Chapter IV, the aquaculture animals must meet the following requirements: 1. all quarantine 129.26 time provides one quarantine;
2. to 129.26 aquaculture animals of species susceptible to the diseases in aquaculture animals, subject to these rules, 129.32, 129.33 129.30, 129.34 129.35, 129.36 129.37 points, and of such requirements;

4. at 129.26 end of quarantine officers to each consignment of aquaculture animals shall be completed and issued legislation that specifies information about the quarantine, the quarantine time, aquaculture species, number of animals, the destination of the consignment, as well as proof that the aquaculture animals are clinically healthy and have not found the provisions referred to in annex 1 of aquaculture animal infectious diseases.
129.27 If during quarantine suspected disease of aquaculture animals, by any of the rules referred to in annex 1 of aquaculture animal infectious diseases, officers: 1. take samples and 129.27 investigates the aquaculture animal infectious disease reference laboratory to confirm or reject the existence of infectious disease;
2. to 129.27 diagnosis for approval or rejection shall prohibit the introduction into the quarantine station and from there exported aquaculture animals.
If during quarantine 129.28 will confirm any of this rules referred to in annex 1 of aquaculture animal infectious diseases, officers controls the following requirements are met: 1. all quarantine unit 129.28 existing aquaculture animals shall be removed and disposed of under the relevant infectious diseases spread, except when aquaculture animals and products thereof placed on the market if the quarantine Unit found in the aquaculture animal infectious disease does not jeopardise the health status of aquatic animals in the territory or country of destination;
129.28 2. infectious diseases quarantine affected units are cleaned and disinfected;
129.28 3.  15 days after the quarantine unit cleaning and disinfection is complete it is prohibited to insert aquaculture animals;
129.28 4. infectious diseases quarantine units affected water treated and disinfected to destroy identified aquaculture animal infectious disease agent.
129.29 service shall inform the European Commission of measures implemented in accordance with this provision and paragraph 129.28 129.27

Sentinel animals are admitted to 129.35 aquaculture use analysis, sampling and diagnosis, except where there is a quarantine of aquaculture animals of species susceptible to the agent marteiliosis Marteilia refringens.

4. has been placed in quarantine 129.37 unit just before the quarantine of aquaculture animals in the receipt or its time and held together with aquaculture animals and imported in the same breeding and environmental conditions.
129.38 dead or sick animals investigates aquaculture service veterinarian.
129.39 If in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1251/2008, chapter IV quarantine is the condition of the consignment of aquaculture animals for import of such consignments are imported, if the third country has complied with the requirements of legislation for the equivalent of aquaculture animal quarantine requirements.
