Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 361 in Riga 2014 (1 July. No 36 24) of bovine animals, swine, sheep, goats and horses studbook sorting rules Issued in accordance with the breeding and animal breeding law article 7 of the second paragraph of point 2 i. II. requirements for animals in the herd-book, parts A and B

Sheep and goat breeds concerned: a record 15.1. herd-books if the main part: 15.1.1. recorded the parents and grandparents of the same breed; 15.1.2. it is appropriate for the variety originated in four generations, but imported animals – three generations; 15.1.3. assessment of the productivity and meet the relevant breed breeding program requirements; 15.2. the book description if: 15.2.1 sheep origin is known in three generations, and both parents have one variety or related breeds, and its varieties and the varieties of the related asinīb is at least 75 percent, but goat's origin is known in one generation and both parents have one variety or related breeds; 15.2.2. assessment of the productivity and meet the relevant breed breeding program. 16. the record of the Horse breed: the main part of the herd-book 16.1 if: it is the parents recorded 16.1.1. of the same breed in the main part. This requirement does not apply to a given variety breeding in the specified congeners or stallions of varieties accepted; 16.1.2. it is appropriate for the variety originated in four generations, but imported animals – three generations; 16.1.3. the assessment correspond to a given variety breeding program requirements; 16.2. in the description of that book: 16.2.1. This assessment corresponds to a given variety breeding program requirements or it has reached the breed breeding program results required sports competitions; 16.2.2. its origin is known in three generations, and both parents have one variety or related breeds, if provided for in the relevant breed breeding program. 17. By way of derogation from this provision, 13.1.1.14.1.1., 15.1.1. and in paragraph 16.1.1. these requirements, the book includes a description of the progeny of the livestock in the main part of the record in the following cases:-If the horse 17.1. its father is admitted of the same breed in the main part, but my mother – description; 17.2. female bovine animals, swine, sheep and goats-if his mother and maternal grandmother are entered in a herd-book of the description, but his father and both grandfathers – the main part of the herd-book.
III. recording in the book of animals For animal record 18 in the book, the owner shall submit the application to the organization. The application according to the requirements of the Organization indicate the number of herds or herd and animal identification numbers. By way of derogation from the provisions in paragraph 18 that condition, the owner of the animal after the instructions of the organization may conclude with the Organization a contract for animal entry in Flock books. 20. the Organization's in the month following receipt of the application or the date of conclusion of the contract on the animal entry in Flock books and subsequently at least once every quarter, if the application or contract contains only the herd number, test data: 20.1. for meat breed cattle-breeding and data center monitoring information database; 20.2. the varieties of milk cattle-breeding and data center monitoring information database; 20.3. the pigs and horses – monitoring of the organisation in a database; 20.4. for ovine and caprine animals-data center and monitoring information breeding database and ciltskartīt. 21. by paragraph 20 of these regulations in these testing organisation shall decide on: 21.1. animal entry in Flock books and 20 of these provisions within the time limit set in point made mark: 21.1.1. Data Center – the register of animals on cattle, sheep, goats and horses.
