Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No 774 Riga 2014 on December 16th (Mon. No. 71 1) Latvian National Defense Academy activities Issued in accordance with the provisions of article 3 of the Law School, the first paragraph and article 7 2.1 part 1 and 2 point 1. determines: 1.1. Latvian National Defense Academy (hereinafter referred to as the Academy) and its representation and management institutions and decision-making bodies-the constituent Assembly, the Senate, the Rector and the academic competence of the arbitration – in so far as it is different from the University Act; 1.2. the appointment of the Rector of the Academy, approval, and release, as well as the different requirements of the qualifications of the Rector; 1.3. order the Academy student count, the student and the academic staffing, qualifications of academic staff, as well as the order in which determines the remuneration of academic staff who are not professional service soldiers; 1.4. the restrictions on the student and the student self-government rights Academy; 1.5. contract procedures of study at the Academy; 1.6. procedures for conducting studies before approval of inspection; 1.7. the Academy issued the administrative act and the actual action for appeal; 1.8. the Academy and student self-government funding arrangements. 2. The Academy's Senate approved only the procedure and the rules governing academic and scientific issues. 3. The Rector candidate nominated by national armed forces Commander. Academic staff Assembly: 12.1. soldiers from military service in accordance with the procedure prescribed by law; 12.2. the civilian staff of the University in accordance with the procedure prescribed by law. 13. Academic staff positions shall be appointed or elected by the Academy of persons who satisfy the academic requirements laid down in law or: post Professor 13.1 may appoint or elect a soldier of active service retired soldier, who has a doctoral degree and a minimum of 15 years experience of military service officer positions; 13.2. the Associate Professor's Office may appoint or elect a soldier of active service retired soldiers who have at least a master's degree and a minimum of 12 years experience of military service officer positions; 13.3. the post of Assistant Professor may appoint or elect a soldier of active service retired soldier who has no less than 10 years experience of military service officer positions and at least a Bachelor's degree or second level professional higher education; 13.4. the lecturer's Office may appoint or elect a soldier of active service retired soldiers who have higher education and not less than seven years experience of military service; 13.5. the Assistant Director may appoint or elect a soldier of active service retired soldiers who have higher education and not less than five years experience of military service. 14. National armed force commander may appoint professional service soldiers, with appropriate military or professional competence, individual study course or module teaching in the Academy. 15. Assistant Professor or researcher workload given monthly salary not to exceed the direct State administration officials (employees) of the post 11. monthly salary group of institutions subordinated to the Ministry set a salary; 15.4. the lecturer or Assistant in a specified working load must not exceed the wages of national administrations in the official (employee) posts 10. salary group of institutions subordinated to the Ministry set a salary; 15.5. allowances, bonuses and cash awards at the appropriate State and local officials and employees of the institutions reward terms referred to in the Act. 16. The Academy's student authority – the Council – Krīv University of law in the second paragraph of article 54 of the specific veto rights. 17. The Academy student self-government is financed from national defence assigned to the budget for the planned activities of the Academy. 18. the programme of the Academy expertise prior to approval of national armed forces carried out the assessment of conformity of the national defence program. 19. The Academy issued administrative provisions and actual action can be a challenge for the Ministry of defense in accordance with laws and regulations procedures and judicial review of the administrative procedure law. 20. the financial resources of the Academy constitutes national defence assigned State budget funds, revenue from the fees, donations and gifts, as well as foreign financial help. These funds shall be managed by the national armed forces training command. 21. in paragraph 5 of these rules in a particular requirement of the Rector for education shall enter into force on July 1, 2019. Until the expiry of the Rector of the Academy's Office can appoint soldiers who have at least a Bachelor's degree or second level professional higher education. 22. until the new Latvian National Defense Academy of constitutional approval of Cabinet of Ministers of 8 January, 2003 order No. 4 on the National Defense Academy of constitutional approval ", to the extent not in conflict with these rules.
