No. 39, 21) and vegetable seed solely trade rules Issued under the seeds and planting materials in the law of article 2, paragraph 1, "a" section i. General questions 1. these provisions shall be determined solely and vegetable seed order that rule 1. vegetable species listed in the annex, intended for the production of agricultural products.

6. Basic seed (B) is the seed that: 6.1 from pre-basic seed (PB) or directly from a random seed (IR);
6.2. grown under the supervision of the breeder, within the generally accepted practices for the maintenance of the variety;
6.3. for the production of seed that meet category-certified seed (C);
6.4. meet basic seed in these provisions (B);
6.5. throughout the seed production and preparation period is the national plant protection service control.
7. Certified seed (C) are seeds which: 7.1 produced directly from basic seed (B) (where the breeder wants-also from pre-basic seed (PB));
7.2. for the production of seed that meet category-'' (ST), or for the production of vegetables;
7.3. complies with those rules for certified seed (C);
7.4. throughout the period of seed production is the State plant protection service control.
8. '' (ST) is the seed that: 8.1 comply with these rules of certified seed (C) requirements for varietal purity;
8.2. conform to those rules '' (ST) category;
8.3. for the production of seed that meet category-'' (ST), or for the production of vegetables;
8.4. subject to State plant protection service follow-up.

If the national plant protection service received sēklaudzētāj, a seed establishment, packer or retailer's written request for exclusion from the register or found it to meet the requirements laid down in these provisions, the registration shall be cancelled within two weeks after receipt of the application, or (for failure) dial.

XII. concluding issues 63. Regulations shall enter into force by 1 June 2001.

66.61. These provisions and 62 come into force by 1 January 2005.
67. These rules 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 to the annex shall enter into force on 1 June 2002.
