The Republic of Latvia Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 202, Riga, May 22, 2001 (pr. Nr. 24, 7. §) rules on nominal quantities for pre-packed goods and the packaging of the nominal volume of the reference Issued in accordance with the law "on a uniformity of measurements" 10. the third paragraph of article 1 defines the terms of prepackaged goods distributed in Latvia of a nominal quantity and packaging of the nominal volume of the reference.
2. These provisions apply to 1, 2, and 3. the products referred to in the annex, which are sealed in certain prepackaged nominal volumes-not less than 5 g or 5 ml and not more than 10 kg or 10 litres – as well as to the provisions of paragraph 12 of annex 1 of these yarns, which are not packed in closed packaging. These provisions do not apply to prepackaged products which are intended only for professional use.
3. The provisions in paragraph 2, the products are divided into products which fulfil the following: 3.1 according to the weight or volume of the product (excluding this provision 3.2 and 3.3. prepackages referred to in). This provision is set out in annex 1 of the quantity of each prepackage the nominal values;
3.2 according to the weight or volume of the product and which divided the hard package (with the exception of those rules specified in annex 1 products). This provision is set out in annex 2 of the packaging volume allowable values;
3.3. the aerosol packaging. This provision is set out in Appendix 3 of the product volume and liquid phase, if the products are packaged in aerosol packaging, metal-packaging volume.
4. If the prepackaged product is that rule 1.1.4.1., 3.1., 3.2 and 3.5. foodstuffs referred to or mentioned in point 12, the goods of the yarn in Latvia only distributed in nominal quantities whose values are specified in annex 1 of these rules. Other prepackaged goods specified in the annexes to the nominal quantity and packaging of the nominal volume of the default value is recommended.
5. For pre-packaged goods packaging indicates the nominal mass or product, the nominal volume of the product regulations. These regulations 3.2 and 3.3 in the cases referred to in (a) also indicate the nominal volume of the container in accordance with the provisions of annex 2 and annex 3, paragraph 1.
6. If the package is a complex of two or more individual prepackages, the rule 1, 2, and 3. the reference specified in the annex shall apply to the individual prepackages.
7. If a package contains two or more individual packages which are not intended to be marketed separately, these rules 1, 2, and 3. the values specified in the annex applies to the whole package.
8. The following provisions of these rules shall control the state metrological inspection and other monitoring and control bodies competent for consumer protection in the field.
9. the rules shall enter into force on January 1, 2002.
