The Republic of Latvia Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 339 in Riga, July 31, 2001 (pr. No 36, § 7.) the order in which the addressee State recognised vocational education and professional qualification certificates and documents of accredited vocational training programme learning released in accordance with the Education Act article 14, paragraph 1, of the vocational training law article 6, fourth paragraph and paragraph 5 of article 7 of the law and article 25 the fourth part 1. rules shall lay down the criteria and arrangements for the addressee State recognised vocational training (vocational basic education , vocational training, vocational secondary education and first level professional higher education) and professional qualifications certificates and documents about accredited professional education programs part of learning (vocational training), as well as the documents referred to.
2. Vocational training and professional qualifications of the certifying professional education documents: 2.1. certificate of professional elementary education (annex 1);
2.2. the attestation of vocational education (annex 2);
2.3. diploma of professional secondary education (annex 3);
2.4. the diploma of first level professional higher education (annex 4).
3. the acquisition of professional qualifications certifying professional qualifications certificate (annex 5).
4. Accredited Professional education programs part of certifying document on accredited professional education programs-learning success of part a certificate (annex 6).
5. in paragraph 2 of this rule, these documents shall be issued by the person who acquired the accredited professional education program and to fulfil all the relevant national education standard.

Požarnov 9. attachment Cabinet July 31, 2001, regulations No 339 diploma of first level professional higher education supplement (sample) diploma series DK no the Diploma Supplement complies with the European Commission, the Council of Europe and UNESCO/CEPES created pattern. Annex has been prepared to provide objective information and evidence of formal qualifications (e.g. diplomas, certificates) academic and professional recognition. The Diploma Supplement contains information about the original diplomas that person successfully completed the study nature, level, context, content and status. It should not include guidance on assessment and equivalence of qualifications, as well as recommendations for the recognition. Information in all eight sections. Appendix to the diploma on the first Level Professional Higher Education (sample) this Appendix to the diploma correspond to the model elaborated by the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO/CEPES. The purpose of the appendix is to provide objective information and the academic and professional recognition of ensur the documents certifying the qualification (for example, diploma, certificate). It contains information about the nature, level, context, content and status of studies successfully completed by the individual indicated in the original of the diploma. The Appendix to the diploma should not contain any indication of qualification evaluation and equivalenc, as well as the suggestions for its recognition. Information in all eight sections should be provided. In the case in any section of the information is provided, the reason should be given.
