Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 109 in Riga 2 March 2004 (pr. 9. § 18) the rules on the State fee for the Hunter's license, the Hunter's seasonal cards and hunting permit, permit for foreign hunters to hunt in the territory of Latvia and authorisation to export hunting trophies from Latvia, as well as the export of hunting trophies order Issued in accordance with article 23 of the law on hunting 1. rules determine: 1. State fees for hunting licences, hunting season cards and hunting permit for the authorization of foreign hunters to hunt in the territory of Latvia and authorisation to export hunting trophies from Latvia (hereinafter referred to as the duty) rates, benefits and payment arrangements; 1.2. the order in which the hunting trophies exported from Latvia.
2. the duty rates are as follows: 2.1 for the hunting licence issuance – one lats; 2.2. about the Hunter's seasonal card-issuing three lats; 2.3. about hunting elk permit, red deer, wild boar, roe deer, grouse hunting for medņ or (regardless of the permissions specified in the age and gender of the animal)-one lats; 2.4. on the issue of the foreign hunters to hunt in the territory of Latvia: 2.4.1. If the period of validity shall be one day – 10 lat; 2.4.2. If the period of validity of the authorisation is to 10 days-25 lats; 2.4.3. where authorisation valid throughout the hunting season-70 lats; 2.5. for permission to export hunting trophies from Latvia: 2.5.1. about apaļradž of moose hunting trophies (the horns together with the skull or the forehead bone), where trophies Horn explosion exceeds 120 inches, or elk with horns lāpstveid hunting trophies (the horns together with the skull or the forehead bone), where trophies of the horns is 20 or more prongs, – 100 lats; 2.5.2. for red deer hunting trophies (the horns together with the skull or the forehead bone), if the trophy is heavier than 10 pounds, 100 pounds; 2.5.3. about deer hunting trophies (the horns together with the skull or the forehead bone), if the trophy is heavier than 0.6 kg, or Wolf or Lynx hunting trophies (skin and skull) removal of 50 lats; 2.5.4. than any other hunting trophies (excluding Fox, jenotsuņ, American mink, marten, stone marten, polecat and beaver skin) removal-10 lats.
3. old-age and retirement pensioners and state accredited higher education institutions full time student apply for relief duty for the hunting season for card issuing and determines the rate of the State fee – one dollar. 4. to confirm the affiliation rules referred to in paragraph 3, the status of the person before the Hunter's seasonal card receipt shows the status of the certificate.
5. The Hunter's license, hunting season, hunting permits, permit foreign hunters to hunt in the territory of Latvia or permission to export hunting trophies from Latvia are issued on presentation of documents for payment of the State fees. 6. State fee, including the State budget. 7. to the left of wild game trophies, the species requires a State forest service permit (annex). 8. for these rules permit referred to in paragraph 7, the hunting trophies of the owner or his authorised person (needs to produce authorization) apply at the State forest service in virsmežniecīb, in which the hunting trophies. The application indicates the wild game hunting and the following information: game trophies 8.1 owner (name, address, identity document and its number); 8.2. documentation of hunting (hunting hunting license number, authorization number (if the trophies derived from wild game in limited), the number of foreign hunters permission to hunt on the territory of Latvia and the Hunter's seasonal card number, issuing the document and date of issue); 8.3. the game animal species from which the trophy and trophy.
9. in addition to the provisions laid down in point 8 the information according to the type of hunting trophies in the application specifies the following information: 9.1 the horns together with the skull or the forehead bone, each protruding Horn number, length and circumference of Horn in centimeters, Horn color, moose hunting trophies of apaļradž-Horn explosion, red deer and Roe deer hunting trophies-weight; 9.2. fangs, their length, width and circumference in centimeters. 9.3. the skull – its length and width in cm; 9.4. the skin – its length, width and the Forelegs of the explosion in centimeters.
10. the national forest service administrative virsmežniecīb laws governing the process within the application, and the appearance issue permits to export hunting trophies from Latvia or notified of refusal to issue a permit. 11. procedure of export of hunting trophies, in addition to these provisions in the laws on the regulation of wildlife trade. 12.
