No 38 6) amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers of 4 March 2003, the provisions of no. 102 "the welfare of laying hens" Issued under the Animal protection law article 10 (1) of the regulation and monitoring of food law article 5, fourth paragraph do cabinet 4 March 2003 regulations No. 102 "welfare of laying hens" (Latvian journal, 2003, nr. 38) the following amendments: 1. Put the name as follows: "the provisions on the welfare of laying hens and the farming business registration procedures". 2. Make reference to some basic rules of the law issued by the following: "Issued under the Animal protection law article 10 (1) of the regulation and supervision of the food chain article 5 of the law of the fourth part". 3. Replace the text, the words "company (company)" (fold) with the word "company" (the fold). 4. To replace paragraph 6, the words "the following types of farming" with the words "such" farming method. 5. Supplement with Their chapter as follows: "VI. 1 farming business registration procedures 30.5 food and veterinary service assigns the farming company registration number in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 30.8. 30.6 the farming company until 2004. If your company uses various types of farming, in addition to holding each type indicates the maximum number of birds you can hold in the company. 30.6 no new establishment is brought into use prior to completion of registration and registration number. 49 food and veterinary service creates and maintains the farming business register. 30.8 the company 10 days to inform in writing the food and veterinary service about changes in farming and the necessary changes to the registration number. 30.8 the farming company registration number consists of: 49.61. a number that represents the type of farming; 49.62. code (en); 49.63. food and veterinary service assigned unique identification number. "2"; the holding cages, 49.73. "3". 49.8 if laying hens there according to the Council on 24 June 1991, Regulation No 2092/91 on organic production of agricultural products and indications of agricultural products and food requirements, then holding the types marked with "0". " 6. Make the informative reference to European Union directives as follows: "Informative reference to European Union directives, the regulations include provisions deriving from Council of 19 July 1999 Directive 99/74/EC laying down minimum standards for the protection of laying hens, and the Commission of 30 January 2002 Directive 2002/4/EC on the registration of establishments keeping laying hens, covered by Council Directive 1999/74/EC.
