Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 630 Riga, 27 July 2004 (pr. No 45 42) research forest management order Issued in accordance with article 49 of the law of the forest, 1. Rules determine the research agenda for forest management. 2. Research forest (forests) has the following national forest service forest research station (hereinafter referred to as the forest research station) in the management of national forests: 2.1. forest areas at different periods of time provided long-term research objects: forestry, forest genetics, breeding and integrated forest monitoring plots or other research objects, which are used for research, training and demonstrations (referred to as research objects).
2.2. forest areas for new research object for resources and non-wood timber material values. 3. The rules referred to in paragraph 2.1 of the forests managed in accordance with the objectives of the research object of installing and this rule 15.1, 15.2 and 15.3 in the mentioned research forest management action plan (hereinafter plan). 4. The rules referred to in point 2.2. tree felling in the forests, the use of forest reproductive material, new stands and forest protection in compliance with the following requirements: 4.1 main harvesting allowed if the stand reached: 4.1.1 main harvesting age (annex 1);
4.1.2. the main shelter of the average (annex 2);

4.5. the trees cut, as well as the preparation, storage or processing of wood in the forest or its immediate vicinity, take steps to reduce the risk of damage to forests and limit their spread. 5. The provisions referred to in paragraph 2.2 of the forest areas object of research, the granting of the status of the forest research station Director's order, taking into account the forest research Advisory Council (hereinafter Council) opinion. 6. The provisions referred to in point 2.1 of the forest areas of the research object status deprives the forest research station Director's order, having regard to the opinion of the Council. 7. Forest products obtained resources distributes: 7.1 according to long-term logging agreements — until the contract expires;
7.2. the auctions;
7.3. the selling price for free. 8. the findings of the research objects of wood under the forest research station Director's order allowed the research object of installation and maintenance of forests. 9. For the areas which have concluded a long-term logging agreement, timber resources distributes about possibly higher price. 10. For the areas which have not concluded a long-term logging agreement, timber resources distributes auctions on potentially higher prices. 11. If the auction organizing costs are greater than the dry, broken and overthrown the wood wind tree value, these trees allowed to sell for free. 12. These rules 9, 10 and 11 will be implemented according to the law "on State and local government financial resources and prevention of wasting" paragraph 2 of article 3. 13. Forests, which provided research objects: 13.1. it is prohibited to organize any measures, if they are not associated with this forest management objectives;
13.2. equipment prohibited the waste dump and landfill of waste storage;
13.3. in certain research facilities where the conservation and maintenance of the need for additional protection, it is cordoned off, allowed to limit the stay of natural persons and freedom of movement. 14. Forests managed in accordance with the plan. The Plan lays down the measures to be taken to support the installation of the objects of research, as well as to manage the rest of forest area. 15. The plan shall include the following sections: 15.1. research support;
15.2. training and educational support;
15.3. the integrated forest monitoring support;
15.4. forest management. 16. the plan of research support includes installation of the object of research and management measures. 17. the plan of training and educational support section includes measures in the practical training of forest use. 18. the plan integrated forest monitoring support includes integrated forest monitoring object installation and management measures. 19. forest management plan section contains the year the measures taken in the forest area, which is not fitted in the research objects. 20. Plans in the forest research station, taking into account the recommendations of the Council and the national forest service budget. The plan approved by the State Forestry Department Director-General. 21. in order to harmonize the forest research station, educational and scientific institutions and the public's views on these rules 16, 17 and 18 of the said measures, establishing the Council. 22. the representative of the Council conferred the following working institutions: 22.1. Ministry of agriculture;
22.2. the national forest service;
22.3. public joint stock company "Latvian State forests";
22.4. The Latvian Agricultural University;
22.5. University of Latvia;
22.6. the National Institute of wood chemistry;
