Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No 1009 Riga 2004 December 14 (Mon. No 72 8) amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers of 26 September 2000, the provisions of the "rules on no 332 of petrol and diesel fuels" conformity assessment Issued in accordance with the law "on conformity assessment" article 7 1. make the Cabinet of 26 September 2000, the provisions of the "rules on no 332 of petrol and diesel fuel conformity assessment" (Latvian journal, 2000, 341./343.nr.; 2002, 111 no; 2003, 45, 180. No; 2004, nr. 69) follows : Supplement chapter I 1.1 to 1.3 and 1.4 points in the following: "gas is 1.3 petroleum product falling within CN code 2710 19 41 and 2710 19 45 for and designed to be installed in non-road mobile machinery and agricultural and forestry tractors.
1.4 the provisions applicable also to diesel with biodiesel (wholly obtained from colza seed oil), if this is not more than 5% vol. of the admixture of the total amount of petroleum products. ";
1.2. make paragraph 2 by the following: "2. the fuel retail sites, which distributes gasoline, indicates the gasoline brand.";
1.3. replace paragraph 5 with the number "," number "0.15 0.005";
1.4. the deletion of point 6;
1.5. make 8.3. the introductory part of point as follows: "8.3. quantity of hydrocarbons, obtained using the standard LVS EN 14517" liquid petroleum products, Hydrocarbons and oxygenates in petrol-determination of Multidimensional gas chromatography method "specified method is as follows:";
1.6. make 8.7. subparagraph by the following: "8.7. sulphur content determined using the standard LVS EN ISO 20846" petroleum products-determination of sulphur content in the fuel the car — Ultraviolet fluorescence method "or the standard LVS EN ISO 20884" petroleum products-determination of sulphur content in the fuel the car — the wavelength dispersive spectroscopy method of the rentgenfluorescenc "the method, must not exceed 10 mg/kg (in the event of a dispute, use the standard LVS EN ISO 20884 method specified).";
1.7. to convey the title of chapter III, the following: "(iii). the requirements for diesel and gas oil";

1.11. the supplement to chapter V 22.1 22.2 points and by the following: "22.1 once a year, the Ministry of the environment shall be submitted to the European Commission for appropriate environmental information on the agglomeration or area, as well as the proposed measures the expected effects on the environment. 22.2 each year before 15 June of the State revenue service shall submit to the Ministry of Economy information on fuel quality of petrol and diesel fuel marketed in the total amount, as well as petrol and diesel fuel marketed (with a maximum sulphur content of 10 mg/kg) in the country last year. This information to the Ministry of economy to 30 June shall be submitted to the European Commission. ";
1.12. the express points 24 and 25 as follows: "24. This rule 8.7. and 9.5. subparagraph shall enter into force by 1 January 2009. 25. ";
1.13. to complement the transition issues with 25.1 points as follows: "the 25.1 petrol stations that transport flows service deployed along the main roads of the country, from 1 January 2005 until 31 December 2008 to include a reference to the closest gas station, which is available for this rule 8.7. and 9.5. requirements of subparagraph gasoline and diesel fuel."
1.14. Add to transitional issues with 27 and 28 by the following: 27.1 January 2009 shall lapse in this subparagraph 8.3.3. rules and the entry into force of the rule, which States that the maximum value of aromatic compounds should not exceed 35.0% (v/v) of the total volume of petrol, which is for internal combustion engine with spark ignition operation.

"
