No 37 45) rules on State fees for the registration of births, deaths and marriages and the payment order Issued under the Act of Civil law in article 11 the second paragraph is rule 1 determine Government fees for the registration of births, deaths and marriages (duty) and payment arrangements. 2. the duty rates are as follows: 2.1 for the registration of marriage – five lats;
2.2. about the register of births, deaths and marriages records, cancellation, correction and replenishment – three lats;
2.3. on the certificate of registration of births, deaths and marriages-one issue of late. 3. From the State fees is released the first and second groups of disabled persons as well as persons who by the laws of the order is considered poor. 4. a State fee is not charged for the following: 4.1 of births, deaths and marriages registry entry additions, correction or cancellation of the registration of births, deaths and marriages agencies errors;
4.2. records of births, deaths and marriages registers replenishment or withdrawal, correction, if it is related to adoption or paternity determination;
4.3. all types of service maintenance matters, public benefits and pension cases, adoption, guardianship, custody, the former estate of denacionalizācij and politically repressed persons rehabilitation of cases, as well as the sentenced person passport and exchange matters;
4.4. parity basis – this rule 2.2. and 2.3. transactions referred to in which Latvian diplomatic missions and consular institutions are made by foreign nationals (nationals), if at the request of the States concerned have concluded an agreement on mutual legal assistance and where after coordination with the Justice Ministry and the Ministry of finance agreed with the competent authorities of that State Archive establishment institutions. 5. a State fee shall be paid prior to the marriage registration of births, deaths and marriages register, record, restore, repair and replenishment, withdrawal, as well as before the certificate of registration of births, deaths and marriages. 6. State fee on the registration certificates of births, deaths and marriages is issued by the civil registry Department, Ministry of Justice, as well as the registration of births, deaths and marriages by consular officials, including the General State of the law on the State budget for the current year. 7. A State fee for the registration of births, deaths and marriages of the operations carried out by the local vital statistics office and clergy, including its municipal budget, responsible for the civil registry department or within the territory of which the confession room.
