Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 507 in Riga, July 12, 2005 (pr. No 40. § 18) the rules on the training and professional qualification supporting documents recognised by applying a special system for the recognition of professional qualifications issued in accordance with the law "About the regulated professions and the recognition of professional qualifications" in article 36, paragraph 6, and article 54, first subparagraph 1. determines: 1.1. obtained a foreign architect's professional name, education and professional qualifications in the supporting documents (hereinafter referred to as the architect of the Qualifi cations), which recognises the application of the special system for the recognition of professional qualifications;
1.2. in addition to the required duration of professional experience and way of applying a special system for the recognition of professional qualifications, if in accordance with the architect's qualifications acquired abroad document architects have won the law "For the regulated professions and the recognition of professional qualifications" adequate education requirements (concerning the structure and content), but the qualifications certified education does not comply with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia the provisions laid down in the curriculum requirements for the architect's professional qualification.
2. in applying a special system for the recognition of professional qualifications in the Republic of Latvia accepts such a foreign qualification document for architects, which in these countries acknowledge the right of any person to use the professional title of architect, take independent professional activities, the profession, and is recognised in the European Union: 2.1 in the Federal Republic of Germany: 2.1.1. School of the arts issued diplomas that are assigned a professional title (qualification) "or" Dipl.-Ing. Architekt (HfbK) "";
2.1.2. Technical University (Technische Hochschulen), Technical University of birch and the universe of architecture (Architektur/Hochbau), as well as the combined universities (Gesamthochschulen) (if it is such) issued the diplomas, which are awarded the professional title (qualification) "Dipl.-Ing." or another professional name, which may be granted to persons who have been issued the following diplomas;
2.1.3. the University Department of architecture (Fachhochschulen) (Architektur/Hochbau) or universities (Gesamthochschulen) combined (if there is such) issued diplomas in architecture degree programs. University architecture faculty issued diplomas in architecture ("univerzitetn in the diplomiran in architecture" or "inženir univerzitetn diplomiran of the inženirk of architecture") and the competent institution of Slovenia issued a document confirming the right to pursue the professional activity on the territory of Slovenia;

3.
