Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No 552 Riga, 26 July 2005 (pr. No 43 § 57) State agencies "Andrew's Upīš Memorial Museum" Regulations Issued under the public law agency 8. the third paragraph of article i. General questions 1. public agency "Andrew's Upīš Memorial Museum" (hereinafter referred to as the agent tour) is the supervision of the Minister of culture in public administration. The Minister overseeing the Agency implemented the Museum Administration. 2. the objective of the Agency is to promote with the writer Andrew Upīš 's personality and creative activity, as well as with the relevant age, environment and iedibinātaj traditions related cultural values, fostering a society of respect and understanding of the nation's cultural heritage. II. Agency functions, tasks and rights 3. the Agency shall have the following functions: 3.1 maintain, manage and develop the Museum – National Museum of items item part;
3.2. collecting materials and related information on Andrew Upīš writer's life and creative work, age and the environment associated with the writer's personality;
3.3. take inventory of the Museum's scientific research;
3.4. provide public access to the Museum's values;
3.5. to maintain and develop the Museum's operation required infrastructure. 4. in order to ensure the performance of Agency functions: 4.1 ensure national museum inventory replenishment, inventory, documentation and storage according to the procedures laid down by the Cabinet;
4.2. create exhibitions and ensure accessibility to visitors, as well as tour guide services;
4.3 according to the Agency for the purpose of studying the Latvian and world literary history questions to identify A. Upīš work and personality;
4.4. organise educational measures;
4.5 prepare informational and scientific publishing costs;
4.6 provides authentic environment – the writer's Memorial apartment in Riga, Brivibas Street 38-4, and the House with the garden in Skrīvero Street 58, Daugava, conservation, regularly performing maintenance, preservation and restoration work;
4.7. create informational database for the inventory of the Museum the National Museum of the item ';
4.8. formulate and implement projects under the Museum's operational objective;
4.9. provide publicity activities of the Museum. 5. the Agency's public administrative functions and tasks carried out in the medium-term actions and development strategy, management contracts and the current year's operating plan and budget. 6. the Agency shall have the following rights: 6.1. charge for public services provided;
6.2. receive donations, donations, foreign financial assistance to participate in the tender of projects to attract funding;

6.4. make purchases for the Museum's inventory replenishment;
