Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 119 in Riga in 2006 (February 14. 9. § 12) the order in which the product manufacturer, distributor or service provider will inform the national authorities of supervision and control of the goods or services, which creates the risk that is incompatible with the General safety requirements Issued under the safety of goods and Services Act article 8 sixth 1. determines the order in which the product manufacturer, distributor or service provider shall inform the relevant national supervisory and control body (hereinafter market supervisory authority) When he became known as a proficient he had to know that a product or service creates the risk that is incompatible with the General safety requirements. 2. The manufacturer, distributor or service provider shall inform the market surveillance authority of a product, which he put into circulation or service, if it involves a risk which is incompatible with the General safety requirements. These provisions shall not apply to medicinal products, medical devices (including in vitro diagnostic medical devices), medical goods and food. 3. If the item or service is not only a risk to the health and safety of the consumer, but also the environment, the manufacturer, distributor or service provider shall inform the national environmental service. 4. the manufacturer, distributor or service provider is not required to inform the market surveillance authorities for goods or services, which creates the risk, in the following cases: 4.1 risk that makes the product or service is not secure, applies only to individual accurately known lots of goods produced or separate things, and this batch of goods producer or the case is removed from circulation or made the necessary measures to ensure the conformity of the goods or services with the General safety requirements;
4.2. the manufacturer, distributor or service provider becomes aware that the market surveillance authority is already aware of a product or service that creates the risk that is incompatible with the General safety requirements. 5. in order to determine the conformity of the goods or services with the General safety requirements, the manufacturer, distributor or service provider risk assessments have been carried out according to the laws and regulations on the safety of goods and services. 6. If the product manufacturer or service provider first received information that a particular item or service creates the risk that is incompatible with the General safety requirements, the manufacturer or the service provider immediately, as soon as you have access to all relevant information, but not later than 10 calendar days of completing part I notification form for the product or service that creates the risk that is incompatible with the General safety requirements (annex) and shall submit the statement to the relevant market surveillance authority, but a copy of the notice-dealers.
