Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No 354 Riga, 2 May 2006 (pr. No 25 28) amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers of 25 March 2004 No 165 "provisions of the rules concerning the control of pesticide residues in products of animal origin" Issued under the plant protection act article 5 paragraph 4 make 1 Cabinet of 25 March 2004 No 165 "provisions of the rules concerning the control of pesticide residues in products of animal origin" (Latvian journal, 2004, nr. 49; 2005, no. 24) the following amendments: 1. make paragraph 6 by the following : "6. Pesticide residues in products controlled by the food and veterinary service (hereinafter service) to take samples of products and sending them to a laboratory for examination, which corresponds to Parliament's and the Council of 29 April 2004, Regulation (EC) No 882/2004 on official controls performed to ensure the verification of compliance with feed and food law, animal health and animal welfare rules (hereinafter referred to as the regulation) 12. the requirements set out in article 1. ';
1.2. make 39 the following wording: "39. owner of the party has the right to submit a parallel laboratory sample analysis in another lab, which corresponds to article 12 of the regulation.";
1.3. to supplement the rules with 43 and 44, the following wording: "43. This provision 2. table 1 of the Annex 61, 62, 63, 64, 65 and 66, annex 2, paragraph 2, table, point 4 of annex 2 and 57, 59, 60, 61 and 62. note shall enter into force on the 21 April 2007.
44. This provision of the annex 2 table 1 of paragraph 67 of annex 2, table 2 of paragraph 14 and annex 2 58. note shall enter into force on 24 February 2007. ";
1.4. to make informative reference to European Union directives as follows: "Informative reference to European Union directives, the regulations include provisions resulting from: 1) Council of 24 July 1986 Directive 86/363/EEC on the maximum permissible level of pesticide residues in and on foodstuffs of animal origin;
2) Council 29 June 1993 of Directive 93/57/EEC amending the annexes to directives 86/362/EEC and 86/363/EEC on the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in quantities in and on cereals and foodstuffs of animal origin and to them;
3) Council of 23 June 1994, Directive 94/29/EC amending the annexes to directives 86/362/EEC and 86/363/EEC on the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in quantities in and on cereals and foodstuffs of animal origin and to them;
4) Council of 17 July 1995 directive 95/39/EC amending the annexes to directives 86/362/EEC and 86/363/EEC on the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in quantities in and on cereals and foodstuffs of animal origin and to them;
5) Council of 21 May 1996, Directive 96/33/EC amending the annexes to directives 86/362/EEC and 86/363/EEC on the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in quantities in and on cereals and foodstuffs of animal origin and to them;
6) Council of 25 June 1997 Directive 97/41/EEC, amending Directive 76/895/EEC, 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC on the establishment of maximum residue limits of fruit and vegetables, cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables, and accordingly to them;
7) Council of 15 December 1997 Directive 97/71/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC on the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables respectively;
8) Commission of 27 October 1998 Directive 98/82/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC as regards the maximum levels of pesticide residue levels, respectively, in and on cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables respectively;
9) Commission 14 July 1999 Directive 1999/71/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC on the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables respectively;
10) Commission of 28 April 2000, Directive 2000/24/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 76/895/EEC, 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC as regards the maximum levels of pesticide residue levels, respectively, in and on cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables respectively;
11) Commission of 22 June 2000 Directive 2000/42/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC on the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and on them, and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables respectively, and to them;
12) Commission of 22 September 2000, Directive 2000/58/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC as regards the maximum levels of pesticide residue levels, respectively, in and on cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables respectively;
13) Commission of 18 December 2000. Directive 2000/81/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC relating to the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables respectively;
14) Commission 20 December 2000 Directive 2000/82/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 76/895/EEC, 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC relating to the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on fruit and vegetables, in and on cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and to them and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables and to them;
15) 2001 of the Commission of 25 July 2001/57/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC on the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and to them, as well as certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables respectively;
16) Commission of 26 February 2002 Directive 2002/23/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC on the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and on them, and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables respectively;
17) Commission of 17 May 2002 Directive 2002/44/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC as regards pesticides (bentazone and pyridate) maximum residue levels in and on cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and to them and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables respectively;
18) Commission 2002 July 11, 2002/63/EC laying down Community methods of sampling for the official control of pesticide residues in plant products of animal origin and on and repealing Directive 79/700/EEC;
19) Commission on July 16, 2002 by Directive 2002/66/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 76/895/EEC, 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC on the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on fruit and vegetables, cereals, and to those in and on foodstuffs of animal origin, and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables respectively and to them;
20) Commission of 19 august 2002 Directive 2002/71/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 76/895/EEC, 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC for the pesticides (' formotion, Dimethoate and oxydemeton-methyl proposed) the fixing of maximum levels in and on cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables respectively;
21) the Commission's 2002 October 2, of Directive 2002/79/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 76/895/EEC, 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC relating to the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables respectively;
22) Commission December 16, 2002 Directive 2002/97/EC amending the annexes to Council Directives 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC as regards pesticides (2.4-D, triasulfuron and thifensulfuron methyl) maximum residue levels in and on cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and to them and certain products of plant origin, including fruit and vegetables respectively and to them;

29) Commission 23 august 2005 Directive 2005/48/EC amending Council Directives 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC as regards maximum residue levels for certain pesticides in and on cereals, as well as certain products of animal and plant origin and to them;
30) Commission 20 October 2005 Directive 2005/70/EC amending Council Directive 76/895/EEC, 86/362/EEC, 86/363/EEC and 90/642/EEC as regards maximum residue levels for certain pesticides in and on cereals, as well as certain products of animal and plant origin and to them. ";

(44)-including its esters expressed as ioxynil. 62. (45)-originated the use of glyphosate. " 2. This rule 1.8. subparagraph shall enter into force on 10 January 2007.
