Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No 1059 in Riga in 2006 (19 December. No 68 76. §) rules on the State fee for an ID card and passport issued under the identity card Act, article 2 of the fourth part i. General questions 1. determine the amount of the State fee ID card and passport and fee payment arrangements.
2. the duty of the identity card or the passport issuing country included in General.
3. From the State fees for the identity card or passport issuance of exempt person is full dependent State or municipality and present citizenship and Immigration Department this status identification.

II. State fee for the issue of identity cards 5. State fee for the issue of identity cards is three dollars.
6. A State fee for the issue of the licence of the person of age pension in ram, first or second disability, child disability, a person of up to 15 years of age and the person who submitted the document to the person's licence within 30 days after reaching the age of 15 is one dollar.
7. A State fee for the issue of identity card again if the identity card is lost or damaged six lats.
8. A State fee for the issue of identity card again if the NASA certificate of me lost or damaged, this provision 6. persons referred to in point are two lats.
III. State fee for the issue of passports 9. State fee rates for issue or a first-time passport for passport issuance, if repeated a previous passport has expired, the person changed the person or the person's legal status changed, is 15 pounds, but on the issue of the Passport expedited the following duty rates: 9.1. If passport issued to four working days,-25 lats;
9.2. If passport is issued within two working days,-35 lats.
10. a State fee of pensioner age, first or second disability and a person to 20 years of age on the first issue of the passport or the passport issue again if the previous passport is expired, the person changed the person or the person's legal status changed, there are five lats, but the issue of passports to speed up the following duty rates: 10.1 if passport issued to four working days,-15 lat;
10.2. If passport is issued within two working days, and 25 lats.
11. State fee rates for issue of passport again, removing the provision referred to in paragraph 9 of the reasons for issuing the Passport, is 20 lats, but the passport issue is such an accelerated national dues rate: 11.1 if a passport issued to four working days,-30 lats;
11.2. If passport is issued within two working days, and 40 lats.
12. State fees rate age pensioner, first or second disability and a person to 20 years of age on the passport issue, again with the exception of those provisions referred to in paragraph 10 of the reasons, the issue of the Passport is 10 lats, but the passport issue is such an accelerated national dues rate: 12.1 if the passport issued to four working days,-20 lats;
12.2. If passport is issued within two working days,-30 dollars.
13. State fee rates for issue of passport expedited the person who changed the family name after marriage, and documents the issue of the Passport due to the change of name submitted within 30 days after the marriage is 15 LVL.
14. State fee rates for issue of passport expedited the person of citizenship and Migration Affairs Administration submitted the application and documents certifying the Passport expedited the need to issue, is set accordingly this provision 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 of the introductory paragraph if: 14.1 a person needs treatment in a foreign country;
14.2. the person you need to leave the State of family illness or death;
14.3. a person under 18 years of age or educational institution student is going on an organised trip to foreign countries.
IV. Closing questions 15. Be declared unenforceable in the Cabinet of Ministers of 11 February 2003 Regulation No 73 "regulations on the State fee for an ID card and passport (Latvian journal, 2003, 25, 137. No; 2004, nr. 67; 2005, 207. no).
16. Until 1 June 2007 the State fees for the issue of passports, the rate is five dollars, but on the issue of the Passport expedited the following duty rates: If the passport issue 16.1. four working days,-15 lat;
16.2. If passport is issued within two working days,-30 dollars.
17. Until 1 June 2007 the Government fees for passport issuance rate of old-age pensioners, first or second disability, child disability, child up to 15 years of age and the person who submitted the documents for a passport during 30 days after reaching the age of 15, is a late but accelerated the issuance of passport, that person has the following national dues rate: 17.1. If passport issued by four working days -11 lats;
17.2. If the Passport is issued within two working days, $26.
18. Until 1 June 2007 national dues rate for the passport issue again, if the Passport is lost or damaged, is 10 lats, but the issue of passports to speed up the following duty rates: 18.1. If passport issued to four working days,-20 lats;
18.2. If passport is issued within two working days,-35 lats.
19. Until 1 June 2007 national dues rate for the passport issue again, if the Passport is lost or damaged, this provision 17. persons referred to in point are two lats, but the issue of passports to speed up such persons has the following national dues rate: 19.1. If passport issued to four working days, – 12 lats;
19.2. If passport is issued within two working days, $27.
20. From June 2, 2007 to December 31, the rate of State fee for the issue of a passport to a person until the age of 15, the person who submitted the documents for a passport during 30 days after reaching the age of 15, and the child disability are two lats, but the passport issuing expeditiously such person are the following duty rates: 20.1. If passport issued to four working days, – 12 lats;
20.2. If passport is issued within two working days, $27.
21. Chapter II of these rules shall enter into force by 1 January 2008.
