Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 34, Riga 2007 (8 January. No 2 10) amended the National Security Act issued by the authorities of the Republic of Latvia article 81 of the Constitution in order to make national security authorities Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1994, nr. 11; 1995, no. 18; 1996; 1998, no. 23, no. 12; 1999; 2000, no. 14, no. 15; 2002, nr. 2, 16; 2004, nr. 9; 2005, 14, 22 no, No 14.2006;) the following amendments: article 12 : make the first paragraph by the following: "(1) the National Security Council chaired by the Prime Minister and the Council is composed of: 1) Defense Minister;
2) Minister of Foreign Affairs;
3) Interior Minister;
4) the Minister of Justice. ";
to make the second part of paragraph 3 as follows: "3) coordinate national security authorities estimate projects;"
Add to the second part of paragraph 8 with the following: "8) suggests checking the public safety authorities.";
to supplement the article with a fifth by the following: "(5) To the Governing Council with advisory capacity may invite heads of State security, corruption prevention and combating Bureau Chief and other public officials." Prime Minister a. Halloween Justice Minister g. Smith
