Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 547 in Riga in 2007 (14 august. 45 2) amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers of 21 November 2006, regulations no 942 "provisions on essential requirements and supervision of lighters order" Issued in accordance with the law "on conformity assessment" 7. the first part of the article make the Cabinet of Ministers of 21 November 2006, regulations no 942 "provisions on essential requirements and supervisory arrangements lighters" (Latvian journal, 2006, nr. 190; 2007, 55 no) the following amendments: 1. Make paragraph 6 by the following : "6. Prohibited the placing on the market of lighters which are not child-resistant. Child-resistant lighters, which are, under normal or foreseeable conditions of use possible cannot actuate the children that are younger than 51 month because their starting strength is required or the construction, ignition mechanism of protection or the ignition is enough complicated. Child-resistant lighters meets one of the following requirements: 6.1 standard LVS EN ISO 9994:2007 "lighters-safety information in nature" with the essential requirements of quality, safety of lighters and safety specifications and the standard LVS EN 13869:2007 "lighters-child of the Bank give lighters-safety requirements and testing" requirements (except the standard 3.1, 3.4 and 5.2.3. the specifications referred to in point);
6.2. the national legislation in force in countries outside the European economic area Member States, provided that the said regulations shall specify the requirements for lighters equivalent to the safety of children. "
2. Make paragraph 8 by the following: ' 8. Lighter testing to determine their compliance with the safety requirements of children, the lighter model methodical safety compliance check, and use the appropriate model of lighters. "
3. 5. Put the following in paragraph 14: "14. This provision is non-compliant lighters allowed to be marketed until 11 March 2008, if the lighters placed on the market until the date of entry into force of rules, and it is impossible to prove with relevant documents."
