Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 585 in 2007. Riga on august 28 (Mon. No 47 21 §) rules on the provision of food to the population of the country in the event of threats Issued in accordance with article 9 of the law on the mobilization of point 6 establishes the rules: 1 1.1. norms for the provision of food to the population of the country in the event of danger;

9. the Ministry of agriculture in cooperation with the regional development and local government ministries and local authorities will plan and coordinate the delivery of the food according to the deferred legislation on deferred deliveries.
10. Regional development and local government Ministry will monitor the activities of local authorities in the provision of food to the population of the country in the event of danger.
11. Regulations shall enter into force by 1 January 2008.
