Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 662, Riga 2007 (2 October. No 55 28) amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers of 3 April 2001, regulations No 155 "minimum safety requirements for dietary foods for special medical purposes and requirements marking" Issued under the food surveillance law article 4, second and third subparagraphs, and article 13 of the third to make the Cabinet 3 April 2001 No. 155 in the terms of "minimum safety requirements for dietary foods for special medical purposes and requirements marking" (Latvian journal in 2001, 56 no; 2003, no. 25; 2006, nr. 185.) the following amendments: 1. Express 6.6. subparagraph by the following: "6.6. baby feeding dietary foods intended for other nutrients, other than vitamins and minerals, comply with the laws and regulations set out the minimum requirements for baby food, where it is not contrary to the expected usage;". 2. Make paragraph 9 by the following: "9. the dietary food trade name language of European Union Member States comply with the provisions of this annex." 3. Supplement with 11.1, 11.2 and 11.3 of the following: "1. This rule 11.1 of annex 2.12) (in force until December 31, 2009. 11.2 these terms 1.13.6.3., 2.1.1., 2.1.10, 2.2.1., 2.4.4, 2.4.7 2.2.12.,.,.,., 2.4.9 2.5.1, 2.6.1, 2.7.1.2.9.4, 2.11.1., and section 2.14.1.2.14.2. is valid until 31 December 2009. 11.3 by 2012 January 1 allowed to realize a dietary foods, composed for other nutrients, other than vitamins and minerals does not match this rule, if the point 6.6 is met the requirements of the laws and a substitute for breast milk composition of minimum safety requirements, labelling and advertising requirements, as well as the evaluation of advertising, which is valid until 31 December 2007. Add to the informative reference to European Union directives with 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the following paragraph: "7) a Commission of 20 January 2004, Directive 2004/5/EC amending Directive 2001/15/EC to include certain substances in the annex; 8) Commission of 20 January 2004, Directive 2004/6/EC derogating from Directive 2001/15/EC to postpone the application of the prohibition of trade to certain products; 9) Commission on 23 October 2006, Directive 2006/82/EC adapting Directive 91/321/EEC on infant formulae and follow-on formulae and Directive 1999/21/EC on dietary foods for special medical purposes, by reason of the accession of Bulgaria and Romania; 10) Commission 22 December 2006, Directive 2006/141/EC on artificial of infant formulae and follow-on formulae for infants and amending Directive 1999/21/EC; 11) Commission 7 May 2007 of Directive 2007/26/EC amending Directive 2004/6/EC to extend its period of application.
