Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 449 Riga, June 17, 2008 (pr. No 42 37) amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers of 13 November 2007 Regulation No 775 "Passport" Issued under the identity card Act, article 5 of the eighth and the third subparagraph of article 6 draw Cabinet 13 November 2007 Regulation No 755 "Passport" (Latvian journal, 2007, nr. 185.) the following amendments: 1. Replace paragraph 49, the words and figures "by July 1, 2008" with the words and figures "by 15 September 2008".
2. Add to paragraph 51 of the second sentence as follows: "the Latvian citizen's passport, which was issued during the period from 1 July 2002 until 19 November 2007 and the validity of which is 50 years, and not the citizen's passport, which was issued during the period from 10 April 1997-2007 November 19 and the validity of which is 50 years from 1 November 2010, not valid for traveling except travel to countries which apply the Schengen acquis provisions on the abolition of border control at internal borders.
