The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law On referendum and initiation of chapter I. General provisions article 1. The referendum, if: 1) Parliament has amended the constitutional 1., 2., 3., or of article 6;
2) National President has proposed the dismissal of the Parliament;
3) National President has stopped publication of the Act for two months and these two months are received not less than one-tenth of the voters demand part put a halt to the referendum;

CHAPTER V. Final provisions article 26. State shall bear the expenses of the referendum. The Central Electoral Commission determines the allocation of city, County and precinct election commissions.
