The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law of road transport road transport Act be done (the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1995, nr. 20; 1997, no. 8) as follows: 1. in article 4: make the first paragraph by the following: "(1) State administration in the area of road transport, in accordance with this Act and the regulations issued on the basis of legislation within its field of competence according to enforce the Ministry of transportation and the national road transport services.";
to make the second part of paragraph 3 as follows: "3) cooperate with other national authorities authorized the international road transport, and issue the international agreements intended to permit passenger and freight international traffic."
2. Turn off the article 5.
3. Replace article 6 and article 30, paragraph 1, first subparagraph, and in the third paragraph, the words "road transport administration" (fold) with the words "Ministry of transport" (fold).
4. in article 12: Add to the third paragraph with the sentence the following wording: "deployment and consolidation of cargo, the provisions of the Cabinet of Ministers issued. ';
to supplement the article with a fifth by the following: "(5) the rules on the transport of dangerous goods issued by the Cabinet of Ministers."
5. Put the name of article 32 and the first paragraph by the following: ' article 32. Regular routes and disclosure, modification of the closing (1) regular routes (flights) revealed or amended, by issuing an appropriate licence: 1) city and regional routes, the City Council or District Council;
2) long distance and international routes — the traffic Ministry. " 6. Article 33: in the supplement to the third part of the second sentence as follows: "the location of the bus station and the number determined by the municipality concerned.";
turn off the fourth part;
to make a fifth by the following: "(5) the bus station and mandatory registration services list, as well as the maximum limit for bus arrival and parking charges for bus traffic in the territory determined by the Minister."
7. Article 37: make the third paragraph as follows: "(3) the agreement on the carriage of passengers in taxis are easily concluded orally in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers regulations on the carriage of passengers in taxis easily. At the request of the passenger, the passenger in the taxi-driver, the right to settle with passengers, issue the voucher. ";
to supplement the article with the fourth paragraph as follows: "(4) the rules on the carriage of passengers on regular route buses picked Cabinet."
