The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendments to the chemicals and chemical products to the law to make chemicals and chemical products Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1998, no. 10) follows: 1. Article 1: Add to paragraph 3, after the word "process" with the words "but excluding any solvent which may be separated without affecting the stability of the substance or composition";

7. Supplement article 9 with the seventh subparagraph by the following: "(7) the requirements must be followed when operating with biocides, determined by the Cabinet of Ministers."
8. Supplement article 10 the fourth part as follows: "(4) the protection of the environment and regional development Minister confirms the list of dangerous chemicals."

10. Article 13: turn off the first part;

Transitional provisions 1.
