The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law on the Constitutional Court to make the Constitutional Court Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1996, nr. 14; 1997, no. 20; 2001, no 2) follows: 1. Article 38 be expressed as follows: "article 38. The emoluments of the judges of the Constitutional Court (1) the Constitutional Court judge monthly salary is 15 percent greater than the judges of the Supreme Court's monthly salary with a bonus of 1. qualification class.
(2) the Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court's monthly salary is about 10 percent higher than that of the Constitutional Court judge monthly salary.
(3) the Chairman of the Constitutional Court a month base salary is about 25 percent higher than that of the Constitutional Court judge monthly salary. "
2. Replace article 40, second paragraph, the words "the Latvian labour code" with the words "employment law".
3. transitional provisions be supplemented with points 3 and 4 by the following: "3. the judges of the Constitutional Court a month salary paid in 2003 to the extent fixed until 30 June 2003.

The law shall enter into force on July 1, 2003.
