The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendments to the law "on 3 June 1999, the Protocol concerning the amendment of 9 May 1980 in the Convention concerning international carriage by rail (COTIF)" make law "on 3 June 1999, the Protocol concerning the amendment of 9 May 1980 in the Convention concerning international carriage by rail (COTIF)" (Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2004, nr. 7) the following amendments : 1. To supplement the law with article 3.1 as follows: "article 3.1. In accordance with article 42 of the Protocol § 1 of the Republic of Latvia declares that it will not apply the Convention's Appendix E "uniform rules concerning the contract of use of infrastructure in international rail traffic (CUI)," Appendix F "Uniform provisions for the approval of technical standards for the definition and adoption of uniform technical prescriptions applicable for use in international traffic for the railway materials (BLACKOUT) and the Appendix" G "uniform rules for international traffic the railway materials used technical recognition (ATMF)." "
2. To supplement the law with article 4.1 as follows: "article 4.1.
