In accordanc with article 10 of the Treaty, the Republic of Croatia shall become a Party on the date when it deposits its instrument of accession with the Government of the United States of America. Article II of the present Protocol shall enter into force when each of the parties to the North Atlantic Treaty has notified the Government of the United States of America of its acceptance thereof. The Government of the United States of America shall inform all the parties to the North Atlantic Treaty of the date of receipt of each such notification and of the date of the entry into force of the present Protocol. Article II of the present Protocol, of which the English and French texts are equally authentic, shall be deposited in the archives of the Government of the United States of America. Thereof shall be Duly certified by the cop to be transmitted that Government to the Governments of all the parties to the North Atlantic Treaty. In witness whereof, the undersigned have signed the plenipotentiar to the present Protocol. Signed at Brussels on this 9th day of July 2008.



Protocol on the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the North Atlantic Treaty of 1949 on April 4 in the North Atlantic Treaty signed in Washington by the Contracting Parties, being convinced that the Republic of Croatia by joining this Treaty exacerbated security in the North Atlantic region, agree as follows: article 1 the entry into force of this Protocol, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Secretary-General, on behalf of all the Contracting Parties shall refer to the Government of the Republic of Croatia the invitation to join the North Atlantic Treaty. In accordance with article 10 of the North Atlantic Treaty of the Republic of Croatia becomes a Contracting Party on the date when it shall refer to the Treaty of accession of the United States Government. Article 2 this Protocol shall enter into force when the North Atlantic each Contracting Party has notified its approval of the Government of the United States. The Government of the United States of America shall inform all Contracting Parties of the North Atlantic for each such notification and the date of the entry into force of this Protocol. Article 3 of this Protocol, of which the English and French languages are equally authentic, shall be deposited in the United States Government archives. Proper order certified copies of the United States Government handed over the entire North Atlantic Governments of the Contracting Parties.
