The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendments to the law "on land reform in the cities of the Republic of Latvia" make law "on land reform in the cities of the Republic of Latvia (Republic of Latvia Supreme Council and Government Informant, 1991, 1993, 49/50.nr.;/19.nr.; 18. replace the second paragraph, the words "and a number of ground rent paid in the year must not exceed 5 percent of the land cadastre value" with the words "and a number of ground rent is determined by agreement between the parties in writing. If the parties cannot agree, the ground rent to be determined 6 percent per year from land cadastral values. In addition to the rent the tenant to compensate the landlord real estate tax payment ";
Add to article 2.1 part as follows: "(21) If this referred to in the second subparagraph of article land located in multi-family residential home, ground rent is determined by agreement between the parties in writing. If the parties cannot agree, the ground rent to be determined 6 percent per year from land cadastral values. In addition to the rent for the tenant, beginning with the January 1, 2010, offset by the landlord real estate tax payment. "
2. transitional provisions: to make point 7 by the following: "7. land rent was established in accordance with article 12 of this law, for the first, second and part 2.1 procedure 2009 and 2010 shall not exceed the previous year calculated the land rental fee by more than 25 percent."
Add to transitional provisions with paragraph 10 by the following: "the amendments to this law, 10 in the second paragraph of article 12 in respect of the rent determination shall enter into force on January 1, 2011."
The law shall enter into force on 1 November 2009.
The Parliament adopted the law of 22 October.
