The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendment to the law "on regulators of public services" to make the law "on regulators of public services" (Latvian Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2001, no. 11, 2005, 21; 2. No; 2006, no. 1, 24; 2007, 15. no; 2008, 3 no, 2, 15, 2009. no) following amendment: Express article 27, second subparagraph by the following: "(2) the public service does not have the right to use the tariff revenue to cover the costs associated with its business activities or other activities that are not directly related to the public service, including sponsorship, donation or charity. Part of this article, this restriction does not apply to the cases where the public service uses the tariff revenue donations in Latvia registered associations, foundations and religious organizations or their institutions, which the public good status of the Organization in accordance with the Organization of the public good. Donation amount does not include the cost of supporting the charges. "
The Parliament adopted the law of 22 October.
