The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law on amendments to the veterinary medicine veterinary medicine do Act (Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2001, no. 11; 2002; 2003, nr. 2, 4, 6, 15; 2004, nr. 9, 18, 23; 2006, no. 9., 2009, no 3., no. 14) the following amendments: 1. Turn off the article 4 paragraph 3 of the second paragraph.
2. Express article 11 by the following: ' article 11. State Scientific Institute "of food safety, animal health and Environmental Research Institute": 1) in laboratory and diagnostic examinations (including the reference function of legislation in certain areas) of this law article 4 referred to in the first paragraph of the food and veterinary service competence of State supervisory and control areas;
2) organises interlaboratory comparative testing by the food and veterinary service of the merchant in the self-control laboratories. "
The law shall enter into force on January 1, 2010.
The law adopted by the Parliament in 2009 on 1 December.
