The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law on the energy performance of buildings to do building energy efficiency Act (the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2008, no. 9) follows: 1. in article 4: make the second paragraph as follows: "(2) the Ministry of Economic development and implement of building energy efficiency policies and take measures so that users would be making recommendations in respect of boilers and air conditioning equipment and efficiency."

2. Express article 15 the following: ' article 15. Procedures are monitored by the building of the energosertifikācij, as well as collected, updated and used information on the dissemination of buildings issued, determined by the Cabinet of Ministers. "
The law shall enter into force on the day following its promulgation.
The Parliament adopted the law of 4 March 2010.
