The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendment to the law "on the dead man's body and human tissues and organs for medical use" make law "on the dead man's body and human tissues and organs for use in medicine" (the Republic of Latvia Supreme Council and Government Informant, 1992, 1./2.nr.; The Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1995, no. 22; 2002, no. 2; 2004, no. 13; 2009, no. 1) following amendment: to make article 3 first paragraph as follows: "Cabinet of Ministers determines the order in which a person may submit to the citizenship and Migration Board application for prohibition or permission to use the body tissues and organs after death."
The law shall enter into force on February 1, 2011.
The law in the Parliament adopted the 2010 October 28.
