The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law of disability do Disability Act (Latvian journal 2010, 91 no) the following amendments: article 12: make the first part of paragraph 2 as follows: "2) for persons with visual disabilities in Group I who do not receive public benefits for disabled people who need care — until 2012 December 31, ensuring the right to receive benefit for the use of assistants 10 hours a week by choosing a particular Assistant themselves. This allowance is not entitled to a person who is in long-term social care institution, hospital or medical institution prison; ";
to make the fourth and fifth by the following: "(4) the first paragraph of this article referred to in paragraph 2, the use of the allowance for Assistant paid State employment agency of the European Union's policy instruments. Benefits and the procedure determined by the Cabinet of Ministers. Allowance for the use of the Assistant is not entitled to receive at the Assistant services policy instruments of the European Union project.
(5) the first paragraph of this article 3 and 4 Assistant services referred to in points 5 and 6 and paragraph surdotulk service and service procedure determined by the Cabinet of Ministers. ";
to supplement the article with the sixth part as follows: "(6) the first subparagraph of this article 3 and 4 Assistant and provided for in paragraph 5 and 6 provided for in paragraph surdotulk of the public service award of the mērķdotācij municipality. Mērķdotācij and receiving the order is determined by the Cabinet of Ministers. "
The law shall enter into force on January 1, 2011.
