The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law of protection of the environment in the environmental protection law of the Republic of Latvia (Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2006, 24 no; 2007, 15. no; 2008, 7, 24 no; 2009, No 14; Latvian journal, 2009, 194. No.) the following amendments: 1. Replace the words "throughout the Act the Ministry of the environment" (fold) with the words "the protection of the environment and regional development Ministry" (fold), the words "Minister of environment" (folds) – with the words "the protection of the environment and Minister for regional development" (fold).
2. Replace article 38 the text in the first paragraph of the "17 July 2000. Regulation (EC) no 1980/2000 on a revised Community eco-label award scheme" with the text "25 November 2009. Regulation (EC) No 66/2010 for the EU eco-label".
3. Article 39: replace the first paragraph, the words "of 19 March 2001, Regulation (EC) no 761/2001" with the text "2009 November 25 with Regulation (EC) No 1221/2009 ';
replace the numbers in the second paragraph and the words "12 and 13 with numbers" and the word "12, 13, 14 and 15. ';
replace the fourth subparagraph, the words "limited liability company" standardization, accreditation and Metrology Centre ' "with the words" public limited liability company "standardization, accreditation and Metrology Centre '".
The law shall enter into force on January 1, 2011.
