The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law of information in Geospatial make Geospatial Information Act (Latvian journal, 2009, 205. no) the following amendments: 1. Replace the words "the whole law, regional development and local government Ministry" (fold) with the words "the protection of the environment and regional development Ministry" (fold).
2. Replace article 8, first paragraph, the words "Ministry of the environment" with the words "the protection of the environment and regional development Ministry".
3. To make article 4, fourth subparagraph by the following: "(4) the individual functions, cartography and Geodesy geospatial information policy within the limits of its competence to fulfil the environmental protection and the Ministry of regional development, Ministry of agriculture, the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of transportation of the Ministry of economy, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of health, Ministry of education and science, the Ministry of culture and the local authorities, as well as associations and foundations whose activities in the area concerned is registered."
The law shall enter into force on January 1, 2011.
