The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendment of the Act on State legal aid to make the Act on State legal aid of the Republic of Latvia (Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2005, nr. 8; 2008, nr. 15, nr. 14, 2009; Latvian journal 2010, nr. 178.) following amendment: Add to articles with 1.1 parts 14.2 by the following: "(11) the legal aid administration does not provide legal assistance to the Council of 18 December 2008, Regulation (EC) No 4/2009 on jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition and enforcement of decisions and cooperation in matters relating to maintenance obligations in the cases. In these cases, the legal aid provides a maintenance guarantee fund administration of the Maintenance Guarantee Fund and in accordance with the procedure prescribed by law. "
The law shall enter into force on 18 June 2011.
The Saeima adopted the law on 9 June 2011.
