The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the amendments to the corruption prevention and combating Bureau law make corruption prevention and combating Bureau (Act of the Republic of Latvia Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2002, nr. 10; 2003, 8th., 14., 2005, no; 2, 5, 14; 2006, nr. 24. no; 2008, no. 24; 2009, 2., no. 15; Latvian journal, 2009, 193. No.) the following amendments: 1. in article 4: Supplement to article 1.1 part as follows: "(11) to the Office of the Chief of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers issued an open tender. The Cabinet Chief's Office determines the position of the applicant the logon conditions and procedures, as well as the selection and evaluation of applicants. The Cabinet Chief's Office creates the post of an applicant Evaluation Commission, chaired by the Director of the State Chancellery and the President of the Supreme Court, the Attorney General, the Director of the Office for the protection of the Constitution, the Security Police Commissioner or his authorized officer. ";
turn off the first sentence of the second subparagraph;
Add to paragraph 1, second subparagraph, after the words "a citizen of Latvia" by the words "of good repute";
to make the second part of paragraph 3 as follows: "3) obtained the highest professional or academic education (except for the first level professional education) and legal qualifications and accumulated a position appropriate work experience, at least three years of experience in leading positions in public administration or in the field of the protection of the law."
2. transitional provisions be supplemented with 10 and 11 of the following paragraph: "10 Cabinet until 2012 January 1, issued by this law, in article 4, the provisions laid down in paragraph 1.1.
11. Amendments to this law, in the second paragraph of article 4, which provides for additional requirements for the Office of the Chief's job applicants, do not apply to persons who have applied for the Competition Bureau Chief's post that announced until the date of entry into force of the requirements. "
The law shall enter into force on the day following its promulgation.
