The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: amended individual data protection Act do for individuals in the data protection act of the Republic of Latvia (Saeima and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 2000, no. 9; 2002, 23; 2007, nr. 3, 8. no; 2008, 7 No, No 14, 2009; Latvian journal, 2010, 74 no). the following amendments: 1. Replace article 9 paragraph 2 of the third paragraph, the words "Latvian National Archive Fund" with the words "the national documentary heritage". 2. Replace article 10, third paragraph, the words "Latvian National Archive Fund" with the words "the national documentary heritage".
3. Express article 11 paragraph 8 by the following: ' 8) processing of personal data is necessary for the national documentary heritage building by the Latvian National Archives and accredited private archive; ". 4. Replace article 15, first paragraph, the words "and in the area of criminal law or to ensure public interest in tax matters" with the words "and in the area of criminal law, as well as to ensure the public interest in tax matters or financial market supervision and macro-economic analysis". 5. Replace article 17, the words "Latvian National Archive Fund" with the words "the national documentary heritage". 6. To supplement the law with the chapter III1 by the following: "chapter III1 data subject's rights with regard to the processing of personal data by Eurojust and the European Police Office 20.1 article. The data subject shall have the right to submit a request to the data State Inspectorate for their processing of personal data or for their processing of personal data by Eurojust or of the European Police Office. Article 20.2. Data State Inspectorate, upon receiving this law referred to in article 20.1, without delay, but not later than one month from the date of receipt of the request for transfer to Eurojust or the European Police Office for consideration and shall inform the data subject about it. "
7. Express article 21, paragraph 4 of the second paragraph as follows: "4) document and archive management in accordance with the Archives Act;".
8. Turn off the article 29 paragraph 5 of part three. The Parliament adopted the law of June 21, 2012.
