The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the law of bills of Exchange to make bills of Exchange Act (laws and regulations storage, 1938, no. 38; The Republic of Latvia Supreme Council and Government Informant, 1992, 37./38.nr.; Latvian journal 2010, 68 no). the following amendments: 1. Supplement article 1, first paragraph, paragraph 6 with the following sentence: "the legal entity specifies its name, registered office and registration number." 2. the second paragraph of article 48: make the second sentence as follows: "the discount is calculated by applying the legal interest rate." Add to part with the third sentence by the following: "If the Latvian Bank refinancing rate exceeds the statutory interest rate then applicable recourse procedures in force at the date of the Latvian Bank refinancing rate." 3. Add to article 75 of the third subparagraph of paragraph 7 with the following sentence: "the legal entity specifies its name, registered office and registration number." 4. To supplement the law with the second chapter of "A" the following: "second chapter" A "electronic bill of Exchange Bill of Exchange is the electronic securities 78.1 which gives its holder the right to claim from the employer or the akceptētāj Bill to pay certain amount of money in a particular time and place and is designed according to the development of electronic documents and the laws governing the design requirements. 78.2 electronic bill must: 1) designation, which made that the Act is an electronic bill. The sign shall be expressed in the language in which the Act is written; 2) unconditional promise to pay a certain sum of money; 3) terms of payment; 4) payment site designation. A legal person shall indicate the name, registered office and registration number; 6) at the time of signature of the electronic bills. Add to the third subparagraph of article 81 to the sentence the following wording: "the Protest statement, drawn up as an electronic document, the notary signature with a secure electronic signature and add a time stamp. Following the protests of the date and time is the time stamp in the specified date and time. " 8. To supplement the law with article 82.1 as follows: "an act of Protest that 82.1 drawn as an electronic document under this Act and the electronic development and designing regulatory laws and requirements are presented as separate files, which together with the electronic signature Bill." 9. Make the following article 87:87. "Protest bill of Exchange Act and the certified copy of the Bill of exchange protest act kept the book.
