The Saeima has adopted and the President promulgated the following laws: the National Guard laws of the Republic of Latvia in the Republic of Latvia Law on National Guard (Latvian journal, 2010, 82, 205. no; 2012, no 189, 203; by 2014, 108 no) the following amendments: 1. Supplement article 6 the second subparagraph after the word "course" with the words "or fulfil the important defence ministers in certain professions qualified professional duties of international or national military training or exercises." 2. Express article 28, first subparagraph as follows: "(1) the maximum age for service in the National Guard is 55 years, but the militia who fulfil important defence ministers in certain professions of qualified specialists in Office, — 60 years." 3. Supplement article 34, second subparagraph, the words "or fulfil the important defence ministers in certain professions qualified professional duties of international or national military training or exercises." The Parliament adopted the law in 2016 on November 3. The President r. vējonis 2016 in Riga on November 15.
