The DIRECTOR GENERAL for the promotion of quality food and Agriculture of the horse sector having regard to Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of November 21, 2012 quality schemes for agricultural products and foodstuffs; Whereas, by Regulation (EU) No 629/2015 of April 22, 2015, the name ' Finocchiona ' refers to the category "meat products (cooked, salted, smoked, etc." registered as a protected geographical indication in the register of protected designations of origin (D.O.P.) and geographical indications (I.G.P.) provided for by art. 52, paragraphs 2 and 4 of Regulation (EC) No 1151/2012; Considered that there is a need to publish in the official journal of the Italian Republic the product specification of the protected geographical indication "Finocchiona", so that the provisions contained in the said document are accessible for information erga omnes nationally: orders: to publish the attached product specification of the protected geographical indication "Finocchiona", registered in the community by Regulation (EU) No 629/2015 of April 22, 2015. Manufacturers wishing to place on the market the name ' Finocchiona ', may use, in place of presentation and description of the product, the name and the term "protected geographical indication" only on production in accordance with the Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 and they are required to respect all the conditions laid down in the regulations.
