Meanwhile, EU legislation has undergone an update of which must be taken into account because the EC Regulation 1234/2007 of the Council, the single CMO, it was replaced by the European Parliament and Council Regulation No 1308/2013 and Commission decision 2001/468/EC on the authorisation of the pig carcass classification methods in Italy, it was replaced by the current Commission implementing Decision 2014/38/EU. It is useful, therefore, to update the procedures which must be followed by the parties concerned to comply with its obligations under EU and national provisions, including art. 27 June 4, 2010, law # 96 (Community Law 2009) that, in this regard, he expected specific sanctions. Entities required to report prices recipients of this note are those identified in art. 16 of the decree in question and I mean the leaders of slaughtering enterprises that are required to detect the prices for carcasses of slaughtered animals classified according to commercial classes in art. 15 of the Decree above mentioned. Price transmission mode reported prices should be reported via the www.impresa.gov.it portal, in accordance with the modalities contained in the manual "operating procedures and monitoring the activities of pig carcases» available on the website of the MIPAAF www.politicheagricole.it; the communication of prices shall be carried out no later than Tuesday 13 following the reference week. A copy of the notice must be sent to the competent Chamber of Commerce, as well as art. 17 of the aforementioned Decree. In current commercial practice may occur in the following cases: carcase weight;

If you proceed to purchases in carcass weight, with previously agreed prices depending on the classification attributed after the slaughter, the prices communicated are those which will be actually getting paid for each carcass, compared to the reference and the producer will know the results of the classification through the portal www.impresa.gov. If you proceed to purchases in live weight, transactions take place for consignments of animals and the average price paid per game must be attributed to the business class which includes the largest number of carcasses or if carcasses shall be divided in equal amounts, it is attributed to the intermediate class if present. In all other cases, the price cannot be taken into consideration but must be notified of the amount and the number of animals belonging to each class. In the case of animals raised on their own or in agistment, the quantities slaughtered must be added on a weekly basis to those in the same category and class. It is recalled that in the communication has to be shown, for each class, the sum of the amounts and the number of animals, as well as the weighted average price of all purchases downloads. To make easy the procedures to be followed are some examples in annex 3. Using the method of classifying ZP as regards the use of the method of classifying ZP, please refer to the circular of April 10, 2014, # 2420, published in Official Gazette No 102 of May 5, 2014. In particular, it reiterates that can use that instrument after informing the Mipaaf, establishments that break down, annual average less than 200 pigs per week and who do not intend to make use of the derogation to be labelled. In addition it should be noted that this tool can also be used by slaughterhouses which do not meet the aforesaid features as long as you have obtained permission from the Ministry of agriculture. In that regard, the representatives of slaughterhouses concerned must submit substantiated instance using the model set out in annex 4. This circular repeals the circular of 1 St February 2011, # 832. Annex 4 replaces the annex to circular of April 10, 2014, # 2420.
