In a complex environment, characterised by inter-ethnic tension, social decay and subversive activity, he optimized the integration of the various operational components and international military staff bodies, suggesting solutions whose reported importance was unanimously recognised by representatives of thirty-seven countries participating in the mission. Shining figure of general officer who, with his work, helped raise the prestige of the Italian armed forces in an international context, giving luster to the Italian Army». -Naqoura (Lebanon), 28 January 2012-18 December 2013
