THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT AND NAVIGATION view of the art. 229 of the new Highway Code approved by Legislative Decree 30 April 1992, n. 285, published in the ordinary supplement to the Official Gazette no. 114 of 18 May 1992 which delegates the Ministers of the Republic to implement, according to their powers, the Community directives relating to matters governed by the same code; In view of art. 71 of the new rules of the road that paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 shall determine the competence of the Minister of Transport and Navigation to decree concerning design and operational standards for motor vehicles and their trailers, the basis of Community law; Given the Decree of 12 June 1981 transposing Directive 80/1268 / EEC relating to the fuel consumption of motor vehicles, published in the ordinary supplement to the Official Gazette no. 274 of 6 October 1981; Given the Decree of 8 May 1995 implementing Council Directive 93/116 / EC adapting to technical progress Council Directive 80/1268 / EEC relating to the carbon dioxide emissions and the fuel consumption of motor vehicles, published in the Supplement ordinary to the Official Journal. 148 of 27 June 1995; Given the Decree of 8 May 1995 transposing Directives 92/53 / EEC and 93/81 / EEC on the approximation of the Member States concerning the approval of motor vehicles and their trailers, published in the ordinary supplement to the Official Journal n. 148 of 27 June 1995, which is the last consolidated text of Directive 70/156 / EEC, as last amended by Decree of 13 May 1999 transposing Directive 98/91 / EC, published in the Official Gazette no. 133 of 9 June 1999; Having regard to Directive 1999/100 / EC of 15 December 1999 adapting to technical progress Council Directive 80/1268 / EEC relating to the carbon dioxide emissions and the fuel consumption of motor vehicles; Decrees: Art. 1. 1. Annexes I and II of the Decree of 12 June 1981 as last amended by Decree of 8 May 1995 are amended in accordance 'with the Annex to this decree.
