ABOUT
THE PRINCIPAL PENSION ADJUSTMENT OF THE FORMER PRESIDENT AND THE FORMER
THE VICE PRESIDENT AS WELL AS HIS WIDOW
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,
Weighing: that in connection with the change in the principal salary of the President and the Vice President, which came into effect from 1 April 1985, it is seen that there is a need to reestablish the principal pension of the former President and the former Vice President;
Remembering: 1. Section 5 of the paragraph (2) of the Basic Law of 1945;

Law Number 7 Year 1978 on Financial/Administrative Rights of the President and Vice President as well as the former President and former Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia (State Sheet of 1978 Number 52, Additional State Sheet Number 3128);
DECIDED:
Establish: REGULATIONS OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA ON THE ADJUSTMENT OF THE PRINCIPAL PENSION OF THE FORMER PRESIDENT AND THE FORMER VICE PRESIDENT AND HIS WIDOW.
Section 1
(1) The principal pension of the former President who stops with respect from his post is set 6 (six) times 100% (one hundred percent) of the highest principal salary of the State of the Republic of Indonesia.
(2) The principal pension of the former Vice President who stopped with respect from his post was set at 4 (four) times 100% (one hundred percent) of the highest principal salary of the State of the Republic of Indonesia.
Section 2
The principal pension for the widow of the former President and the widow of the former Vice President is 50% (fifty percent) of the principal pension of the former President and the former Vice President as referred to in Article 1.
Section 3
The basic pension adjustment for the former President and the former Vice President who has stopped with respect from jabatanriya before 1 Aprfl 1985 is set with the Presidential Decree.
Section 4
Above the principal pension, to the retired recipient as referred to in Article I and Section 2 is given the allowance and charge as referred to in Article 7 of the Law Number 7 of 1978.
Section 5
The technical provisions necessary for the implementation of this Government Regulation are set further by the Presidential Decree.
Section 6
This Government Regulation came into force on April I April 1985.
