BAB I
UMUM PROVISIONS

Section 1
In this Act intended by:
., 1. The area is an Autonomous Region as referred to in Article 1 of the Law No. 22 of 1999 on the Local Government.
., 2. The province of North Sumatra is the Autonomous Region as referred to in Law Number 24 of 1956 on the Establishment of the Autonomous Region of the Atjeh Province and the Change of Regulation of the Establishment of the Propinsion of North Sumatra.
., 3. South Tapanuli Regency is an Autonomous Region as referred to in the Emergency Law No. 7 of 1956 on the Establishment of the Kabupaten-county Autonomous Region in the Environment of the Propinsi Region of North Sumatra.
., 4. The Administrative City Of Sidempuan is the Administrative City as referred to in the Government Regulation No. 32 of 1982 on the Establishment of the Administrative City of Padang Sidempuan.

BAB II
THE FORMATION AND BOUNDARY OF THE REGION

Section 2
With this law formed the City of Padang Sidempuan in the region of North Sumatra Province in the Republic of the Republic of Indonesia.

Section 3
The city of Padang Sidempuan is derived from parts of South Tapanuli County, which consists of:
a. Northern Padang Sidempuan District;
B. South Sidempuan Padang Subdistrict;
C. The District of Padang Sidempuan Batunadua;
D. The subdistrict of Padang Sidempuan Hutaimbaru; and
e. Southeast District of Padang Sidempuan.

Section 4
With the creation of the City of Padang Sidempuan, as referred to in Article 2, the South Tapanuli Regency region is reduced with the territory of Padang Sidempuan as it is referred to in Article 3.

Section 5
With the formation of the City of Padang Sidempuan, the Administrative City of Padang Sidempuan in the territory of South Tapanuli Regency is removed.

Section 6
(1) The City of Padang Sidempuan has the boundaries of the region:

Section 7

REGION AUTHORITY

The Regional People ' s Representative Council

Section 9

Section 11

Section 12

The Local Government Device

Section 13
For the completeness of the governance of the City of Padang Sidempuan, the Secretariat of the City's Regional People's Representative Council, the City Secretariat, the City Service, and the Technical Institute of the City in accordance with the laws.

BAB V
THE TRANSITION PROVISION

Section 14

Section 15
.,, (1) The financing required for the establishment of the City of Padang Sidempuan, as referred to in Article 2, is charged to the Budget and Shopping Budget of South Tapanuli County.
.,, (2) For the agility of governance, implementation of development, and the civil service, accounting for the establishment of the City of Padang Sidempuan, the necessary financing in the first year before it is composed of the Budget. The revenue and shopping area of Padang Sidempuan area is charged to the Regional Revenue and Shopping District of South Tapanuli Regency based on the revenue results obtained from the City of Padang Sidempuan.

Section 16
All current laws that apply to the South Tapanuli Regency remain in effect for the City of Padang Sidempuan before the laws are referred to be changed, replaced, or revoked under this law.

BAB VI
CLOSING PROVISIONS

Section 17
At the time of the enactment of this Act, all laws in conflict with this Act are declared to be not applicable.

Section 18
The further provisions are required as the implementation of this Act is set in accordance with the laws.

Section 19
This law goes into effect on the promulgated date.

I. UMUM
