PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

BAB I
UMUM PROVISIONS

Section 1
In this Government Regulation referred to by:
., 1. Food is everything that comes from the resources and the water, whether or uncultivated, which is reserved for food or drink for human consumption, including food adders, food raw materials and other materials. used in the process of preparation, processing, and/or manufacture of food or drink.

BAB II
FOOD SAFETY

The First Part
Sanitation

Section 2
.,, (1) Any person responsible for hosting activities on the food chain covering production processes, storage, transport, and food circulation are required to meet the requirements of sanitation in accordance with regulatory conditions. Applicable laws.
.,, (2) The sanitary requirements as referred to in paragraph (1) are further regulated by the Minister in charge of the health area covering the other:

Section 3

Section 4

Section 5
.,, (1) The Good Food Production Way Guidelines as referred to in Article 3 of the letter b are the manner of handling that regard to the food security aspects, among others by means:

., a., a. prevent fresh food tainted by biological, chemical and other substances that are disruptive, detrimental and harmful to the health of air, soil, water, feed, fertilizer, pesticides, animal drugs or other materials used in fresh food production; or
., b. controlling the health of animals and plants in order not to threaten food security or to not negatively affect fresh food.
., (2) The guidelines of the Good Food Production Way as referred to in paragraph (1) are designated by the Minister in charge of agriculture or fisheries in accordance with the respective fields of duty and authority.

Section 6
.,, (1) The Good Food Production Way Guidelines as referred to in Article 3 of the letter c are means of production that pays attention to the food security aspect, among others by the way:

., a., a. Preventing the exposure of processed foods by biological, chemical and other objects that can interfere with, harm and harm to health;

Section 7

Section 8
.,, (1) The Good Food Retail Way Guidelines as referred to in Article 3 of the letter e are a retail way that pays attention to aspects of food security, among others by the way:

Section 9
.,, (1) The Guidelines of the Way of the Production of the Food Ready Saji as referred to in Article 3 of the letter f is the manner of production that pays attention to the food security aspect, among others by way:

., a., a. Preventing food from being prepared by biological, chemical and other objects that are disruptive, detrimental and harmful to health;
., b. shutting down or preventing the life of pathogenic trace bodies, as well as reducing the number of other renic bodies; and
.,, c. controls the process among other selection of raw materials, the use of food addled materials, processing, packaging, storage and transport as well as the way of preservation.
.,, (2) The Guidelines of the Way of Good Food Production Ready Saji as referred to in paragraph (1) are set by the Minister in charge of the health field.

Section 10
The Minister in charge of agriculture, fisheries, forestry, industry, health or the head of the Agency in accordance with the field of duty and authority may each set the guidelines of the manner as well as in Article 3 to applied to a mandatory use.

The Second Part
The Food Additional Material

Section 11
.,, (1) Any person who produces food for release is prohibited from using any material as a prohibited food addled ingredient.

Section 13

Genetic Engineering Product Food

Section 14

The Fourth Part
Food Iradiation

Section 15

The Food packaging

Section 16
.,, (1) Any person who produces food for release is prohibited from using any material as prohibited food packaging and/or which can release adverse exposure or harm to human health.
.,, (2) The materials that are prohibited are used as food packaging as referred to in paragraph (1) are set by the Head of the Agency.

Section 17
.,, (1) Any person producing food for release is required to use permitted packaging materials.
.,, (2) The permitted packaging materials as referred to in paragraph (1) are specified by the Head of the Agency.

Section 18
.,, (1) The materials other than those referred to in Article 16 of the paragraph (2) and Article 17 of the paragraph (2) may only be used as food packaging materials after being examined and received approval from the Head of the Agency.
.,, (2) The Requirements and Conditions of obtaining consent as referred to in paragraph (1) are set forth by the Head of the Agency.

Section 19
., (1) Any person who conducts food production that will be circulated is obliged to do food packaging properly to avoid any contamination of food.
., (2) The order of the food packaging properly as it is referred to in paragraph (1) is set by the Head of the Agency.

Section 20
.,, (1) Each person is prohibited from opening the final packaging of food to be repackaged and trafficked.

(3) Each person who repacks the food as referred to in a verse (2) is required to properly pack food in order to avoid any contamination of food.

The Sixth Part
Food Quality Assurance and Laboratory Examination

Section 21
.,, (1) Any person who produces food to be traded is responsible for organizing a quality assurance system according to the type of food produced.
.,, (2) the Minister responsible in the field of agriculture, fisheries, forestry, industrial, health or the head of the authority requires the application of the standards or other requirements with respect to the quality assurance system as referred to in verse (1) in accordance with the respective fields of duty.

Section 22

The Seventh Part
The Tainted Food

Section 23
Everyone is prohibited from running:

Section 24

Section 25

Section 26

Food Quality

Section 31

The Second Part
Food Quality Certification

Section 32
