UNIFORMED POLICE UNIT TASK FORCE (FORMED POLICE UNIT /FPU) INDONESIA
IN THE PEACE MAINTENANCE MISSION IN DARFUR, SUDAN

WITH THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD

PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

Weigh: a. that at the request of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia through the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Indonesia in New York for the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to participate in the maintenance of peace in Darfur, Sudan;
B. that to exercise the request of the United Nations and the results of the Government meeting with the People's Representative Council on 24 January 2008, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia has established the Presidential Decree No. 4 of 2008 on the Unit Uniformed Police Unit Task Force (formed Police Unit/FPU) Indonesia In the Peace Maintenance Mission in Darfur, Sudan and Presidential Decree No. 23 of 2008 on Adding Troop Units Task Force Uniform Unit (formed PoliceUnit/FPU) Indonesia on the Peace Maintenance Mission in Darfur, Sudan Use of Uniform Police Unit Task Force (Formed Police Unit/FPU) Indonesia on the Peace Maintenance Mission in Darfur, Sudan;

DECIDED:

SET: THE PRESIDENT ' S REGULATION ON THE TASK FORCE OF THE UNIFORMED POLICE UNIT (FORMED POLICE UNIT /FPU) INDONESIA ON A PEACE MAINTENANCE MISSION IN DARFUR, SUDAN.

Section 1
In this Presidential Regulation, the Uniform Police Unit (Formed Police Unit/FPU), referred to as FPU Indonesia, is a Garuda Bhayangkara Army formed and assigned as FPU. Indonesia in the Peace Maintenance Mission in Darfur, Sudan.

Section 2
The establishment of the Indonesian FPU Force under the President's Regulation is a follow up and is a unit with the Indonesian FPU Force formed under Presidential Decree No. 4 of 2008 on the Police Unit Task Force Uniformed (Formed Police Unit/FPU) Indonesia On a Peace Maintenance Mission in Darfur, Sudan and Presidential Decree No. 23 of 2008 on Adding Troop Units Task Force Units In Uniform (Formed Police Unit/FPU) Indonesia in the Peace Maintenance Mission in Darfur, Sudan.

Section 3
Formation of the Indonesian FPU Force is carried out in accordance with the needs and at the request of the United Nations.

Section 4
(1) The formation of the Indonesian FPU Force is carried out by the Chief of the State Police of Indonesia.
(2) The Establishment of the Indonesian FPU Force as referred to in paragraph (1) is executed through:
a. Selection of State Police personnel in accordance with j not requested by the United Nations;
B. Pre-operation training for the implementation of the operational tasks of the Indonesian FPU Force;
C. Process of procurement of equipment as well as individual equipment and unity required by the Indonesian FPU Force.

Section 5
(1) Delivery of Indonesian FPU Troops assigned to peacekeeping missions in Darfur, Sudan as the Indonesian FPU Unit Replacement for Indonesian FPU Forces withdrawn as it has ended its term, executed by the Head State Police of the Republic of Indonesia.
(2) The provisions regarding the delivery and withdrawal of the Indonesian FPU Force as referred to in paragraph (1) are set by the Chief of the Indonesian National Police.

Section 6
The Foreign Minister takes the necessary steps and is coordinating with the United Nations in order for the delivery of Indonesian FPU Troops as well as in the reimbursement process from the United Nations at the cost of the United Nations. maintenance and maintenance of the Indonesian FPU Force facilities and infrastructure.

Section 7
(1) All costs necessary for the implementation of the establishment and activities of the Indonesian FPU Force in a peacekeeping mission in Darfur, Sudan, are charged to:
a. State Revenue and Shopping Budget for the establishment of Indonesian FPU Troops;
B. United Nations through the process
The reimbursement for maintenance and maintenance costs and infrastructure of Indonesian FPU troops in Darfur, Sudan.
(2) In order to finance the establishment of the Indonesian FPU Force as referred to in paragraph (1) letter a, the Finance Minister is coordinating with the Chief of the State Police of Indonesia.
(3) In order to fund the maintenance and maintenance of Indonesian FPU forces through the reimbursementprocess from the United Nations as referred to in paragraph (1) letter b, the Finance Minister is coordinating with The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Head of the State Police of Indonesia.

Section 8
The Indonesian National Police Chief reported the results of the establishment and delivery of Indonesian FPU forces on a maintenance mission in Darfur, Sudan, periodically to the President of at least 6 (six) months or At any time if required.

Section 9
Further provisions are required for the implementation of this Presidential Regulation governed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Finance, and the Chief of the Indonesian National Police in either jointly or individually in accordance with the field of the President of the Republic of Indonesia. their respective duties.

Section 10
At the time of the enactment of this Presidential Regulation:
a. Indonesian FPU troops on the task of peacekeeping missions in Darfur, Sudan continued to carry out its duties until the end of its duties and replaced with the Indonesian FPU Army Replacement under the Ordinance of the Indonesian National Council. This president;
B. The financing used by the Indonesian FPU Force as referred to in the letter a, either through the State Budget and Shopping Budget and the reimbursement process from the United Nations which has not been resolved, is resolved. Formerly in accordance with the provisions of the laws.

Section 11
At the time of the enactment of the Presidential Regulation, then:
a. The Presidential Decree No. 4 of 2008 on the Task Force of the Uniformed Police Unit (Formed Police Unit/FPU) Indonesia on the Peace Maintenance Mission in Darfur, Sudan; and
B. The Presidential Decree No. 23 of 2008 on the addition of the Forces of the Uniformed Police Unit Task Force (formed PoliceUnit/FPU) of Indonesia in the Peace Maintenance Mission in Darfur, Sudan,
revoked and declared not valid.

Section 12
This President ' s rule is starting to apply at the specified date.
